- The C64 is Colnago's flagship frame still manufactured in Italy. The C64's tubes and lugs are made from the finest carbon fiber. It is a unique frame that is beyond comparison with anything else.
- The new frame is finished in lighter weigh UD carbon rather than 3K. The toal weight reduction for frame and fork is about 205g compared with the C60.
- The new seattube forms a single piece with the seatlug this increases stiffness with reduced weight.
- The downtube has a recessed bottle cage mount for aerodynamics and the cable stops for mechanical shifting are tucked behind the head tube.
- The headset cups are a special polymer compsed of carbon and nylon and elastomers. This offers additional capacity to absorb vibrations.
- The fork and seatstays are designed for direct mount brakes. These allow a tyre width of 28 mm and will not move out of position if hit for example during wheel changes.
- The new design increases stiffness at the front end and bottom bracket while vertical compliance is increased giving more rider comfort.
- Increased tyre clearance allows use of 28mm tyres.
- Threadfit 82,5 bootm bracket allows use of pressfit bottom bracket or a threaded bottom bracket made by Ceramic Speed for Campagnolo, Shimano and SRAM.
- For a streamlined seatpost area the C64 has a hidden integrated clamp. This reulsts in sleek looks and an overall weight reduction of 15g.
